Overview

VirgoCX is a cryptocurrency exchange for buying, selling and storing digital assets. This guide explains how to sign in to VirgoCX (web and mobile), what to do if you can't log in, how to manage two-factor authentication (2FA) and best security practices to protect your account.

How to log in (web & mobile)

  1. Visit the site: Open https://virgocx.com. Always confirm the URL and SSL padlock before entering credentials.
  2. Click “Log in”: Choose the login/sign-in button in the top-right corner of the homepage.
  3. Enter credentials: Provide your registered email address and password. Double-check for typos and correct letter case.
  4. Complete 2FA (if enabled): Enter your authenticator code (Google Authenticator, Authy) or follow the SMS prompt if you use SMS 2FA.
  5. Account dashboard: On successful authentication you’ll land on your VirgoCX dashboard where you can view balances, trade or deposit/withdraw funds.

Tip: If you have the VirgoCX mobile app, the flow is similar — open the app > tap Log in > enter email & password > provide 2FA.

Forgot password or locked out?

Reset password: Use the “Forgot password” link on the login page. Enter your registered email and follow the reset link sent by VirgoCX. Reset links typically expire — act promptly.

Account lockouts: Too many failed attempts may temporarily lock access. Wait the cooldown period and then use password reset or contact support.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) & recovery

2FA is strongly recommended. If you lose access to your authenticator app:

  1. Use your stored recovery codes (provided when you enabled 2FA).
  2. If you don’t have recovery codes, contact VirgoCX support and follow their account verification steps to reset 2FA.

Never share 2FA codes, recovery codes, or your password with anyone.

Common login issues & quick fixes

Contact & support

If troubleshooting fails, contact VirgoCX support via the official help center or support email listed on their website. When reaching out, include non-sensitive details: registered email, time of attempted login, and a short description of the issue.

Security best practices

Use a unique, strong password (password manager recommended), enable 2FA, keep software updated, and beware of phishing emails. Always confirm you are on virgocx.com and never paste private keys, seed phrases, or full screenshots of sensitive account pages into chats.
